JSWE’s reviewers use their knowledge and expertise to provide blinded reviews of manuscripts submitted to the journal. They are experienced scholars in social work education and related fields who can make studied judgments about manuscripts and provide helpful comments for authors. Reviewers must be members of CSWE, have recent peer-reviewed publications and a reasonably sustained level of publication, and have expertise in social work and social work education. JSWE currently has a particular need for reviewers with a solid background in quantitative and/or qualitative research as well as those who can evaluate systematic reviews and conceptual and theoretical manuscripts.
Candidates for reviewer are recommended by the editor-in-chief and the JSWE Editorial Advisory Board and are appointed for 3-year terms by the Board chair of CSWE. If you are interested in reviewing manuscripts for JSWE, please send a letter of interest and a curriculum vitae to email@example.com.
