The Council on Global Learning and Practice is a council of the Commission on Global Social Work Education. The council's charge includes the following:
- To develop opportunities and resources that advance global and international issues in course content using various approaches including teaching modules, international experiential learning opportunities for both faculty and students, and publications;
- To promote learning and exchange on global and international issues in social work practice; and
- To continue to develop and promote guidelines for international field placement and learning experiences
