Arminn Leopold is vice president of operations and chief financial officer at CSWE. During his 28 years’ experience as an accounting and financial professional, he has worked in a diverse range of sectors: in government contracting as an expense accountant, at America Online as a senior accountant, in the insurance sector, and even a controller at a wine importer. Each sector provided him with different experiences and growth opportunities as related to accounting, finance, and management.For the past 16 years, Arminn has worked in the nonprofit space. He started as the director of finance at the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions. In July of 2013, became the director of finance and administration for CSWE, the first senior level financial staff member for the Council. During his 10 years at CSWE, he has grown with the organization, as it went through a reorganization, change in the strategic plan process, and recently a change in the membership structure, which he played a vital role.
Arminn was born in Lima, Peru and immigrated to the United States in 1978. He received a bachelor of science in business administration in 1994 from Old Dominion University. Arminn served eight years in the United States Army as an infantry soldier, with most of that time spent in the Virginia National Guard while working on his degree.
