Accreditation Specialist

Caitlin Rothwell, MA, PhD, is an Accreditation Specialist at the Council on Social Work Education. In this role, she partners with fellow accreditation services staff and programs to support the accreditation and reaccreditation processes. Prior to her current role she worked in disability support services for many years, supporting college students with disabilities and working to create a more accessible college experience for all.

Caitlin holds a PhD in Social Work from the Catholic University of America. Her research focuses on program evaluation of interventions for marginalized college students, including students with disabilities and students on academic warning/ probation. She has a passion for research methodology and statistical analyses that highlight the work of social workers and educators who support college students. Caitlin is an avid knitter and loves spending time with her daughter Charlotte.
