Director of Initiatives and Professional Development

Maisaloon Dias, LSW is the manager of centers and initiatives at CSWE. Prior to joining CSWE, she was senior program associate at the National Association of Social Workers. There, she worked on credentialing, continuing education and professional development events for licensed social workers. Maisaloon chaired the diversity, equity and inclusion committee which provided feedback on issues of culture, climate, equity, inclusion, and diversity in the workplace.

She has more than 10 years of experience working with individuals and families in social services. Her skills and specialties include nonprofit leadership, case management, crisis intervention, immigration rights, program evaluation, substance use, and mental health counseling. She is a strong advocate and community based social worker.

Maisaloon is a Licensed Social Worker. She received her MSW from West Chester University in Philadelphia and a BA in psychology and social sciences from Penn State University.

In addition, she is a fiber artist who loves to knit, embroider and cross stitch.
