Director of Accreditation Operations

Marilyn Gentner, LMSW, is the Director of Accreditation Operations, where her passion for efficiency, organization, and social work education accreditation come together. In her position, Marilyn provides leadership in accreditation operations and oversees all accreditation volunteer activities. Prior to this role, Marilyn was an Accreditation Specialist at CSWE, and before that, she worked in various operations and clinical roles within child and family service organizations. Marilyn got her master’s in social work from Michigan State University with a concentration in clinical social work, as well as an Evidence-Based Trauma Treatment certificate. She also holds a social work license in the state of Michigan. When Marilyn is not working, she is spending time with family and friends, gardening, or working on her latest jigsaw puzzle.
