Laura Reid
Laura Reid is currently an MSW student at the University of Houston Graduate College of Social Work. She also graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Texas A&M University and a Master of Science in Education from John Hopkins University. Laura engaged in two internships where she worked as a Health Advocate at Legacy Community Health from Fall 2020 to Summer 2021 and a Macro Social Work Intern at YMCA of Greater Houston from Fall 2021 to Spring 2022. In social work, Laura is very interested in Gender/LGBTQ+ equity, international social work, health equity, and advocacy and community organizing. Read more about Laura’s experience below.
