About the Project
CSWE partnered with the Center for Social Development at Washington University in St. Louis on the Economic Well-Being in Social Work Education project. The purpose of the project is to assist faculty to integrate economic well-being in the social work curricula, and to further prepare students to holistically address challenges to economic well-being in practice. Current project activities include the development of a curricular guide for practice in economic well-being, a hot topic presentation at the 2016 Annual Program Meeting, an upcoming webinar for faculty, further development of the Clearinghouse website, and continuation of a long-term action plan to achieve collaboration and secure ongoing commitment to economic well-being curricular integration. This project has been funded by the New York Community Trust through February 2017.
