This Track invites submissions that showcase research, theory, and pedagogies that inform all levels of practice with and education about people who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender/gender diverse, queer, questioning, intersex, asexual (LGBTQIA+), and/or Two-Spirit/Native, as well as people of other marginalized genders and sexual identities. Papers exploring creative and innovative research, practice, pedagogies, and conceptual methods and models are encouraged. Presentations that highlight the strengths, diversity, and vulnerabilities of LGBTQIA+ and Two-Spirit people and communities are welcome. One goal of this Track is to share knowledge that encourages dialogue about the intersection of multiple oppressions such as racism, sexism, and ableism in the lives of LGBTQIA+ and Two-Spirit people.
