The Criminal/Juvenile Justice Track brings together educators, researchers, and practitioners who are interested in social work policy and practice in the justice system. It covers all aspects of social policy and social work practice as they relate to criminal and juvenile justice. Presentations particularly seek to focus on the effects of social policy on justice system clients and their families and communities, as well as the larger society. Also welcome are presentations regarding advancing social work education and practice to provide alternatives to punitive criminal processing and sentencing.
