Note: There are companies that are claiming to offer registration and housing services for CSWE’s 2024 APM, which are not affiliated with CSWE and do not offer any services on our participants behalf. The term housing pirates is used as they fraudulently gain access to credit card information and defraud unsuspecting victims. Participants may receive emails or phone calls from these companies urging you to book hotel rooms or register. Registration and housing should only be accessed through links accessed from https://revhsg.cmrus.com/cswe2024/Housing/Info and reserved through CSWE’s official housing provider: Convention Management Resources (CMR).

Health and Safety

CSWE is also taking many steps to focus on the health and safety of APM attendees. Please read the Health and Safety page for more information.

To obtain a visa invitation letter, provide your registration confirmation number and e-mail us the request. International travelers are encouraged to apply for their visas as early as possible.
Please note: The Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) cannot intervene with either U.S. embassies abroad or with the U.S. Department of State.

The International Visitors Office (IVO) of The National Academies recommends applying at least three to four months before the meeting, as consulates may have backlogs in scheduling visa interviews. Applicants should first consult the U.S. Department of State’s visa appointment and processing wait times website

Further information on business visas can be found at the U.S. Department of State Business Visa Center website and the IVO website.
