Journal of Social Work Education

The Journal of Social Work Education (JSWE) is a refereed professional journal concerned with education in social work and social welfare. Its purpose is to serve as a forum for creative exchange on trends, innovations, and problems relevant to social work education at the undergraduate, master's, and postgraduate levels.

JSWE is published quarterly by Routledge/Taylor & Francis and reaches an audience of approximately 3,500 individuals, subscribers, and social work programs. The current editor-in-chief of JSWE is Dr. Danielle E. Parrish (University of Texas at Austin). The most recent impact factor for JSWE was 1.784 (2021). Please view content information for the most recent issue.

JSWE is available in fully searchable electronic format as a benefit of CSWE membership or by subscription. CSWE members may choose whether to purchase a print-on-demand subscription in addition to online access. Individuals who are not CSWE members do not have access to full-text files, but may search articles by author, issue, or keyword and view abstracts. Article purchase is also available.
