Reviewing Articles for JSWE

Open Call for Reviewers

The Journal of Social Work Education (JSWE) is seeking applications for reviewers who are willing to donate their time and expertise to provide timely, relevant, and high-quality reviews of scholarly manuscripts for a 3-year term. 

JSWE’s reviewers use their knowledge and expertise to provide blinded reviews of manuscripts submitted to the journal. They are experienced scholars in social work education and related fields who can make studied judgments about manuscripts and provide helpful comments for authors. 

 

Requirements to Apply

  • Applicants must have expertise in social work and social work education.

  • Applicants must have a successful foundational record of peer-reviewed publications and a reasonably sustained level of publication.

  • Junior faculty and graduate students seeking reviewer experience and mentorship are encouraged to apply.

  • CSWE membership is not required.

All applications will be reviewed by the editor-in-chief and the JSWE Editorial Advisory Board. Qualified reviewers are appointed for 3-year terms.
